Stephanie Mollinier
I am a wife, mother, educator, and doula. I love the challenge and beauty of birth. I have decided to follow my passion and calling in life as a birth doula and childbirth educator. It is so important that families feel supported, respected, and cared for as they welcome their child(ren) to the world. My work brings me so my joy because I revel in leading my clients to positive transitions into parenthood. This happens when we work as a team and collaborate on what makes a healthy birth and postpartum experience for YOU.
I have a B.A. in Communication Studies and an M.A. in teaching English which are two very valuable foundations for my work. I am a certified Birth Doula with DONA and Birth Coach Method. I also use a lot of coaching techniques as a certified Transforamtial Birth Coach. After teaching adults for over ten years , I have married this love for teaching with Childbirth Education.

I, too, am a wife, mother, educator, and doula. After the birth of my boys, I found myself looking for a different career that would allow time with my boys AND the opportunity to connect with adults. When I stumbled upon doula work, I knew I had found my passion. I enjoy coaching parents through the journey parenthood and birth can bring with all its challenges and joys.
I have a B.M. in vocal performance and you can catch me performing with a local community choir one night a week. I also hold a current CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, which I used before my children were born for about a decade teaching mostly 5th grade. I have completed Birth Doula training and certification with DONA, in addition to attending the Lamaze Childbirth Education seminar. Continuing education is very important to me and I will remain a student for life!

Through our shared background in Lamaze, DONA, the Birth Coach Method, Pelvic Dynamics as well as our backgrounds in education, we have found a partner in this work through each other. Lamaze’s three pillars resonate with our philosophy: 1. Evidence-Based. 2. Respectful, everyone’s journey to parenthood is unique. 3. Transformative, the journey from pregnancy to parenthood can be very transformative for many families.
We look forward to being members of your birthing team as your childbirth educators.
